Hey, so the vacation is over. If you hadn't seen or heard tell of the above on Facebook, and my allusions to R. Kelly were too subtle for you, and I haven't run into you lately, the above is the soon to be new addition to Team Brown, and she's a girl. She's also kicking now, which is weird but not un-nice. So if you see less blogging, that would be why. I have bigger things to focus on.
Coming up here shortly: probably some links to the New Yorker, pictures of some of the crap I knitted for people's Xmas presents, thoughts on movies, etc. It may take a bit for me to get back into the swing of things. Just because I have a cat alarm clock doesn't mean she turns on the writing part of my brain.

Congratulations! There must be something in the water. Sarah and I are expecting our first in late May. We got our 3D ultrasound yesterday, and it was surreal to say the least.
Maura and I are as well- due in mid June. Amazing what a crappy economy does.
Congratulations - I don't know you other than being a regular reader of your blog, but enjoy the adventure! Also, it looks like your little one is throwing the goat - you may have a little rocker on your hands!
Congrats - as Sarah above said, I don't know you outside of here and Shazhmmmm, although we apparently share a few friends - but I'm excited for you and hope for the very best. Having a kid is a weird little, um, long, trip.

Please consider coming and visiting the Athens Mothers' Center. It meets twice a week and it is a fantastic place for mothers and kids to have a safe pl. Here's a link:

We also have a group of Facebook. It is not a play group and it is not baby and me classes, but those options are available. Group facitlitatores are there if you want to participate in an activity, or if you want to sit, have coffee, knit, and chat.
